The high pressure air jet from the compressed air nozzle is directed into each bag at periodic intervals. Air is distributed to each row of filter bags via a diaphragm valve and lance equipped with drilled nozzles. The high-pressure reverse airflow momentarily stops normal flow and creates a shock wave that blasts the dust from each bag.
